Host Your Next Team-Building at the ICC
Our events are designed to bring people together through the shared experience of food and wine. Cooking Competitions, Chef Demos, and Wine Challenges are only a glimpse of the fun you will experience with our team.
Blind Wine Tasting
The perfect “add-on” to any of our team-building events! A Certified Sommelier will take the group through a red and white wine blind tasting, focusing on the flavors, aromas and general characteristics of each wine.
“Gourmet Bites” Team-Building
During this hands-on experience, one of our Chef-Instructors will teach you how to make decadent and delicious appetizers or deserts. Afterwards, your group will mix and mingle in our private dining room where you can nosh on the gourmet bites you’ve created.
A Taste of the ICC Culinary Team-Building
Let one of our Chef-Instructors teach your group how to cook a dish that’s sure to impress! After cooking in the kitchen, everyone will dine on the dish de jour, along with sides and dessert provided by our Chef-Instructor, in our private dining room.
Chef Demo & Buffet
The event starts in one of our state-of-the-art demo kitchens for a Chef demo featuring one of our Chef-Instructors. Afterward, you will dine on a menu created around the recipe featured in the demo in our private dining room.
ICC Culinary Team-Building
Teams will have the chance to get in the kitchen with a Chef-Instructor and create a themed menu together; options include California Menu, French Menu, or Italian Menu. They then will dine on their creations in our private dining room.
For this challenge, each team is given a themed “mystery basket” of ingredients, and has 90 minutes to prepare a dish. The teams will get hands-on advice from a Chef-Instructor to help them along the way. After cooking, they will dine on their creations in a private dining room, and collectively vote for the best dish.
“Iron Chef”-Style Challenge
In this challenge, the teams are given complete creative control! Each team will have 90 minutes to select items from our food pantry and prepare a dish. The teams must use the secret ingredient, and will have a Chef-Instructor in the kitchen to help them along the way. After cooking, the group will enter a private dining room to enjoy the fruits of their labor, and vote for their favorite dish.
For this challenge, a Master Sommelier will help teams blend a wine, design a label, and produce a 30-second commercial about their wine. Afterward, a buffet will be held in our private dining room, and one team named the winner.
